Kids Peeps

So since I finally have pictures of them, I thought I'd share with ya'll the kids new friends that you've heard so much about already. The first one is Darnell. He is Albert and Stacy's son. He is 6 and in first grade with Jalen. He's a good kid and has a ball with our kids. Ryan LOVES HIM!! The second one is Jalen with his best school friend Maria. They are at the same table and she is very smart so they are grouped together often. They are hilarious to listen to. Like two little grown ups in little bodies. How cute is she?! The third picture is the "crew" as we all call them. That's the neighbors Cody and Brody. They are six and four and live two doors down. About the only thing these four don't do together is sleep. They're great kids and we love their whole family! And the fifth picture is Cody and Brody's little sister Riley! I LOVE HER!!!! She is the smiliest little chunky monkey ever! LOL! She helps me when I miss Avery too much! :) Anyway, just thought ya'll might like putting some faces with names.

"Dimme Tandy!"

YAY! Pictures to prove our existence! I am so sick of not having my digital camera but these will do in the meantime! The kids had a blast on Halloween! We all did. This year was the first time Ryan really understood what was going on. Other years he has had fun and knew he was getting candy and having fun with his brother and cousin but this year it all clicked. He knew why we were getting dressed up and that we were going house to house and that if he held out his bucket when the person came outside and told them "DIMME TANDY!" that they would get a really big kick out of it and throw tons of loot in his bucket! LOL!!! Laela was a little less than excited. She of course doesn't get it and so she just knew that we were ooohing and ahhhing over her clothes and that she got her picture made a lot. She mostly enjoyed just prissing around with her bucket over her forearm like a purse. It's funny when she has those girly moments because when we got home she and Ryan were taking turns with Jalen's mask to scare me and Daddy-this is soooo characteristic of Laela so the girly moments make me giggle some! We missed the annual bonfire and hayride at Uncle David and Aunt Debbie's with the cousins - Jalen mentioned it a time or two. But all in all we had a great time and the kids were a blast to watch! It's those moments that make me feel like I'm on top of the world, like I can do anything. I know that sounds corny but I have the biggest rush when I see the kids having so much fun. I don't feel at thost moments like I'm getting too old to run and tumble and get sick eating candy. LOL! :) I just have fun living in the moment with my babies! Hope you all enjoy the pictures. Oh yeah, Jalen was HeatBlast from his favorite show Ben 10. Ryan was a baseball player (duh) but funny enough he played for both White Sox and Falcons! LOL! And little Laela was Minnie Mouse.
